🔺Hello!!! Today I'm going to post two subcultures that caught my attention. 🔺 The Tausug subculture The Tausug are an ethnic group of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. They practice the Islam religion. Some characteristics of this group are: The Tausogs still practice age-old marriage customs👫 Loyalty is an important trait among the Tausugs. They practice the ritual of blood compact to signify the depth of their loyalty to one another.💪 They are fierce and dangerous but the moment one befriends one of them, the bond will be enduring.👊 The Maranao subculture The Maranao people, also spelled Meranao, Maranaw, and Mëranaw, is the term used by the Philippine government to refer to the southern tribe who are the "people of the lake", a predominantly-Muslim Lanao province region of the Philippine island of Mindanao.
